The Chicken Coop at Barfad was a delightful place to stay. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful harbour. The views were breathtaking and the area was tranquil and peaceful. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful locals. Kerry, the host, was responsive and attentive to our needs. it was a great experience and we would highly recommend Barfad Self Catering Holiday Cottages.
One drawback was the aggressive and abusive neighbor in the cottage next to us. It was a very unpleasant experience, but fortunately, it was an isolated incident and didn't overshadow our overall positive stay.

The value for money at these self-catering cottages was great. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was tucked away in a lovely spot with a track leading down to the waters edge. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the friendly locals, and the beautiful views. The staff, especially Douglas, were lovely and helpful.
The only thing that could make the breakfast choices better would be to have more variety.

The lack of heating upon arrival, especially in the freezing cold weather. It would have been nice if the owners had put it on beforehand.
